A previous production reference, not a stocked product. It demonstrates construction and decoration capability; every project is manufactured to the customer's own specification after sample approval.
How a quilted, puffer or padded jacket is built
A quilted jacket, sold as a puffer or padded jacket, holds its insulation between shell and lining in stitched channels or boxes. The shell, wadding and often the lining are quilted together as flat yardage first, and the panels are cut from that quilted material afterwards.
Two measurements define it: the fill weight in grams per square metre and the quilt pattern, stated as channel width or box size. Quilting lines should meet at side seams and shoulders. Embroidery stays off the quilted area, because a needle through the fill flattens the loft.
