How a zip hoodie is built

A zip hoodie splits the front into two panels around an open-ended zip that runs the full length and is ordered per size. The hood has to meet the zip cleanly at the top, the rib waistband is interrupted, and the kangaroo pouch becomes two separate pockets.

Alignment is the main check: the zip runs straight, both halves meet level at the hem and the pocket openings match across the closure. A facing can hide the zip tape inside, a chin guard keeps the slider off the skin, and a custom puller brands the garment cheaply.
