Voyager Textile is a tracksuit manufacturer with its own cutting, sewing, embroidery and printing floor in Türkiye, producing track jackets, sweatsuits and training sets for team and club programmes, brands, merch and corporate buyers. Every order starts at 300 pieces per colour and per style, sizes can be split inside that 300, and the first sample takes 5-7 business days. Fabric, fit, colour blocking, zips, cords, labels and packing all follow the buyer's specification; there are no stock styles.

What We Make: Track Jackets, Sweatsuits, Windbreaker Sets and Joggers

Tracksuit options include the following garment types, made to the buyer's design or developed from a reference garment:

  • Track jackets: full-zip tops with a stand collar or a hood, in brushed polyester or a cotton knit, often with colour blocking or piping.
  • Zip-up and half-zip tops: full-length or shorter front openings, with the pattern and closure construction specified for the design; available with or without matching trousers.
  • Brushed sweatshirt fleece and French terry sets: a sweatshirt or hoodie with matching joggers, using a brushed-back or unbrushed loopback knit as specified.
  • Windbreaker sets: a woven shell jacket and trousers, usually lined, which is a different sewing job from a knit set.
  • Joggers / sweatpants / track pants: the trousers of every set, also ordered on their own.

The catalogue holds 6 tracksuit references from previous production: 3 track jackets, 2 activewear sets and 1 jogger. None of them is stock; an article code is a starting point for a new build to your specification. The cutting, sewing and assembly sequence for the top and trousers is described in tracksuit manufacturing.

Matching Sets and Sweatsuits

For a tonal matching set, specify a shared colour standard for the top and trousers. The top and the trousers each get their own tech pack, size chart and fabric line, and one fabric is named as the master colour reference against which the other piece, the rib, the cord and the zip tape are approved. Because they are two styles, the minimum of 300 pieces per colour and per style applies to each garment, and the size split is made inside the 300 of each: 300 tops can run XS to XXL while 300 joggers run S to XL, or the reverse.

Specify whether the top and trousers are sold and packed as one set or as separate pieces, including any mixed-size combinations. Each garment needs its own grading and quantity record. Using the same fabric and dye lot can support shade matching, but does not guarantee an identical shade: compare both pieces and trims with the approved standard under agreed lighting, and confirm fabric allocation for the project. See dye lot shade variation.

Tracksuit Fabrics: French Terry, Brushed Fleece, Polyester Knits and Polar Fleece

The table gives indicative fabric choices and weights, to be specified for each project. Check dimensional stability for the chosen fabric and care process. Fibre content alone does not determine garment weight or drying time; these depend on fabric construction, mass and finish. Sublimation requires a suitable polyester print face and a trial on the actual fabric.

Windbreaker sets use woven fabric, with mesh or taffeta lining as options. The shell fabric, its finish and the lining are specified per project and confirmed at the quotation stage; woven shell jackets on their own are covered on the jacket manufacturer page.

Construction Points to Specify

For each garment, specify the applicable construction details below. The linked pages explain the individual components.

Grey half-zip training top with a stand collar and orange raglan sleevesZip side pocket and contrast side stripe on grey track pants
  • Collar: stand collar, funnel neck or hood, with its height at centre back; a hood follows hood construction.
  • Zip: open-ended for a full-zip jacket, length per size, tape colour matched to the body, puller and chin guard; see zip and closure construction.
  • Cuff and hem rib: rib depth and relaxed width, or an elasticated or plain hem instead; see rib trims.
  • Waist: elastic in a casing, a rib band or a flat elastic, with or without a drawcord, and the drawcord exit (eyelets or buttonholes); see waistband construction.
  • Ankle finish: rib cuff, elasticated hem, open hem or ankle zip, with the leg opening measured flat.
  • Pockets: side-seam, welt or zipped on both garments, with pocket bag fabric named; see pocket construction.

Decoration on Track Jackets and Sets

Embroidery (flat, 3D puff, chenille, appliqué), transfer printing and sublimation are done in our own factory; screen printing and garment washing are done with partner facilities. Choose decoration placement and whether to work on cut panels or assembled garments according to the design and access. Sublimation requires a suitable polyester print face and a trial on the chosen fabric. On brushed polyester, heat settings for transfers are tested on the sample fabric first, because the fibre can glaze or shift colour under the press; see polyester print colour change.

Junior and Academy Sizes

Specify the intended age and size range and destination market. Assess cords and drawstrings by position against the applicable EN 14682 requirements and market rules. An elasticated waist and a cord-free hood are design options, not proof of compliance. Use a separate junior size chart and confirm how junior styles are allocated within the 300-piece minimum per colour and style when quoting. See EN 14682 cords and drawstrings.

Who Orders Tracksuits

  • Team and club programmes: club tracksuits and academy sets, often ordered with jerseys and training tops; see sublimated teamwear.
  • Brands: sweatsuits and track jackets under the brand's own labels, often in French terry or heavyweight fleece to match a hoodie line; see hoodies and sweatshirts.
  • Corporate buyers: staff and event sets in company colours with an embroidered logo; see corporate clothing.
  • Merch companies: tour and event sweatsuits with prints on the leg and back; see custom merch.

Sizing, Tests and Packing

Sizes are graded to your size chart for each garment. The trousers need waist relaxed and extended, rise, inseam, thigh, knee and leg opening; the jacket needs body length, chest, sleeve length and zip length, each with a tolerance. The chart format is covered in size charts for production.

A buyer can write these tests into a tracksuit specification, with the laboratory and acceptance limits agreed per project:

  • Dimensional change: washing and drying to ISO 6330, with measurement to ISO 5077, particularly for cotton sweatshirt fabrics and French terry.
  • Pilling: ISO 12945-2 for brushed sweatshirt fabric, polar fleece and fabrics used at the seat and knees of joggers; see fabric pilling.
  • Colourfastness: ISO 105-C06 to washing, ISO 105-E04 to perspiration and ISO 105-X12 to rubbing, the last one relevant for dark sets; see colourfastness.
  • Bursting strength: ISO 13938-2 for the knitted body fabric.

Packing states whether each polybag holds a set or a single piece, how sizes are marked when top and trousers differ, and the carton count per size; see folding and polybagging.

What Changes the Unit Cost of Tracksuits

The unit cost of a custom tracksuit moves with fabric composition and weight for each garment, with colour blocking and piping that add panels and cutting work, with construction (collar or hood, zips, pocket types, waistband and ankle finish, lining on a windbreaker set), with trims such as zips, cords and eyelets, with the decoration method and the number of placements on both pieces, with the number of colours, with the quantity above the 300 minimum per colour and style for each garment, and with labels and packing as sets or separates. The full breakdown is in the clothing manufacturing cost guide.

Producing in Turkey for European Brands

Türkiye sits on the road corridor into the EU, and under the EU–Türkiye Customs Union (Decision No 1/95 of the EC-Turkey Association Council) apparel in free circulation moves into the EU without customs duty when an A.TR movement certificate accompanies the shipment; import VAT still applies, and the A.TR evidences customs status rather than origin, as explained in A.TR and origin. Plan the order around the required delivery date. Bulk production typically takes 4-5 weeks after approval; development, sampling and shipping are additional, and the project schedule is confirmed at quotation. Transport options are in shipping apparel from Turkey, and the wider case in nearshoring clothing production for European brands.

Questions this raises

What is the minimum for custom tracksuits?

The minimum for custom tracksuits is 300 pieces per colour and per style, and the top and the trousers are each a style. Sizes can be split inside the 300; sublimation and custom Pantone colours carry the same minimum. For polyester, the colour process is assessed separately; the minimum is unchanged.

How long does it take to make custom tracksuits?

Making custom tracksuits takes 5-7 business days for the sample of both pieces, and typically 4-5 weeks for bulk production after sample approval. Development, fabric and trim sourcing and shipping are additional.

Can you make tracksuits to our own design and label?

Yes, every tracksuit is made to your own design; there are no ready-made styles. Fabric, fit, colour blocking, zips, cords, decoration, labels, hangtags and packing all follow your specification.

Can tracksuit tops and trousers be ordered in different quantities?

Yes, tracksuit tops and trousers can be ordered in different quantities, because each garment is its own style with a minimum of 300 pieces per colour. Sizes are split separately inside each garment's quantity, for example 400 jackets and 300 joggers.

Do you make fleece and French terry sweatsuits?

Yes, fleece and French terry sweatsuits are made as a sweatshirt or hoodie with matching joggers. Indicative weights are around 220-320 g/m² for French terry and 300-350 g/m² for standard brushed fleece, specified per project.

Can children's tracksuits have drawcords?

It depends on the intended age range, cord position and destination market. Check the applicable EN 14682 requirements and market rules for the proposed design; hood, waist and hem cords need separate assessment. See EN 14682 cords and drawstrings.

Planning a tracksuit or sweatsuit order?

Send the fabric for each garment, the collar, zip, waist and ankle details, the size charts and artwork, or a reference set for development. We sample both pieces together in 5-7 business days and quote from 300 pieces per colour and per style.
